A significant part of the world has trouble accessing healthcare. We are looking for groundbreaking technologies to provide affordable and quality healthcare for everyone, in every part of the world.
Finture Solutions is interested in startups and scaleups that have developed a solution applicable in emerging markets and who already operate in one or more emerging markets globally. The company must be established in the Netherlands and can show a KvK registration. There is no requirement for founders being Dutch.
We are interested in scalable solutions (a product or service) supported by a solid business model. The solutions can be low-tech, high-tech, software, hardware. There is a demonstrated need for the solution being offered. The technology has been tested in an emerging market with a positive outcome and your startup is likely to be looking for venture capital investment in the medium term.
After we have received your application, we will evaluate it and let you know if you will be invited for the next selection round. We will hold online interviews with the Top 30 startups after which we will invite the Top 10 startups to the final Pitch Event at Rockstart on June 18.
At the Pitch Event, the five winners will be announced who will each receive the development capital of up to €125,000 and support from FMO industry experts. The Top 10 startups will be invited to the Pitch Event at Rockstart on June 18. All 10 startups will pitch to an expert committee in the morning in a smaller setting, and deliver a final pitch to the Jury on stage with a broader audience. The exact program is subject to change.
In order for us to help you, we are looking for startups that have developed at least an MVP (minimum viable product) and already operate in one or more emerging markets globally.
Emerging markets include the economies of all low, lower middle and upper-middle-income countries as defined by the Worldbank. Only high-income economies are not within the definition of emerging markets. For a complete overview of these countries, please check the Worldbank website.

FMO measures impact by the number of jobs created, GHG emissions avoided and inequalities reduced. You may suggest other impact indicators. Please refer to FMO’s sustainability policy. FMO will review the environmental and social aspects of your startup.
